Council Programs:
Council 13035 is proud of it's contributions to our Church and Community through our programs:
Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP)
The Council supports the seminarians of the Dioces of Grand Rapids by providing financial support to four to six seminarians annually. In addition to monetary support, we encourage them by sending cards, letters, care packages and prayers.
Mothers Day Carnations
According to nursing home statistics, about 2/3rd's of people in nursing homes have no living relatives, and about 70% of all nursing home patients are women. On Mother's Day, the Council purchases carnations and distributes them to the ladies confined to area nursing homes so that they do not feel forgotten.
Muskegon Rescue Mission
The council assists the Muskegon Rescue Mission by supporting their Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners for the homeless as well as making food donations.
Labor Day Cars for Cancer Car Show
The Council works with Different Strokes Car Club in putting on an annual Labor Day car show with the proceeds going to assist with patient care at the Johnson Family Center for Cancer Care.
Adopt-A-Highway
We pick up trash three times a year along two miles of Apple Ave. (M-46) from US-31 to Dangl Road. After the work is done, we enjoy some fraternal time with a dinner.

The Council assists with the annual Lifesaver Fund Drive, sponsors a table at the annual Muskegon County Right to Life Banquet, and Muskegon Pregnancy Services Life Walk. We also participate in the annual Rally and March for Life in downtown Muskegon. Our members can also be found praying the Rosary to End Abortion on Saturday mornings in front of the local abortion clinic.
MI Drive
The Knights of Columbus hold Tootsie Roll Drives for the Mentally Impaired two times a year, Palm Sunday Weekend and the weekend before Columbus Day. 80% of proceeds from our drives stay right here in our area benefitting Area 21 Special Olympics, Lemonade Stand of Muskegon, Pioneer Resources/LARC, No More Sidelines, ARC Muskegon, and Wesley School. The remaining 20% goes to support programs at the state level to help the mentally impaired.

Council Programs:
"What makes the Knights of Columbus different from a men's club besides its Catholicity, are the actions we perform for the weakest in our society. The projects that a Council undertakes, defines the spirit of our Order. Simply saying the words; charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism accomplishes nothing. It is by our actions that we are known. No matter how small you believe your contribution, it is nevertheless essential to the structure of an organization praised by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church as the most important lay organization of Catholic men in the world."
